1994 in Setúbal, Portugal, geboren, erwarb sie ihren Bachelor of Arts am Amsterdamer Konservatorium in Holland, wo sie bei Prof. Ilya Grubert und Eliot Lawson studierte.
Derzeit macht sie ihren Master in Performance an der Universität für Musik und Kunst in Wien, wo sie bei Professor Boris Brovtsyn studiert. Als Solistin wird sie von der Agentur Showcase – Artway Culture and Arts geleitet.
Während ihrer Karriere erhielt sie mehrere Auszeichnungen und wurde in nationalen und internationalen Wettbewerben anerkannt. Sie war die erste Gewinnerin des José Augusto Alegria-Preises; Nationaler Saitenwettbewerb Vasco Barbosa und Internationaler Wettbewerb der Stadt Fundão.
Josefina verfügt über umfangreiche Orchestererfahrung und hat in renommierten Orchestern wie dem European Union Youth Orchestra und dem Gulbenkian Orchestra gespielt. Portugiesisches Sinfonieorchester; Portugiesisches Kammerorchester; Klangvereinigung Orchester und andere.
Sie trat als Solistin beim Portugiesischen Sinfonieorchester, beim Jugendsinfonieorchester und beim Nordorchester auf.
Zusammen mit dem Pianisten Gonçalo Simões bildet sie das Kammermusikduo Duo Concentrico.

She is currently doing her Master Degree in Performance at the University of Music and Arts in the city of Vienna, Austria where she studies with professor Boris Brovtsyn.
As soloist she is managed by the agency Showcase – Artway Culture and Arts.
During her career she obtained several distinctions and was awards in National and International Competitions.
She was 1st prize winner at the José Augusto Alegria Prize; National String Competition Vasco Barbosa and International Competition of the City of Fundão.
Josefina has an extensive orchestral experience, having played in renowned orchestras such as the European Union Youth Orchestra, Gulbenkian Orchestra; Portuguese Symphony Orchestra; Portuguese Chamber Orchestra; Klangvereinigung Orchestra among others.
As a soloist she performed with the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, Youth Symphony Orchestra and Northern Orchestra.
Together with the pianist Gonçalo Simões, she forms the chamber music Duo : Duo Concentrico.
