Ich bin eine griechische Geigerin, ursprünglich aus Thessaloniki. Seit 2009 wohne ich in Wien und habe hier mein Studium absolviert am MUK Privatuniversität in der Klasse von Lidia Baich. Vorher habe ich in Moskau am Gnessin Institut studiert.
Es ist mir besonders wichtig, während der Unterrichtsstunde, meinen Studenten die Möglichkeit zu bieten, Musik zu erfahren und sich selbst in dieser schönen Sprache auszudrücken. Da ich selbst von der russischen Schule komme, werden die Grundprinzipien der Geige mit Klangschönheit, Expressivität und einem musikalischen Charakter kombiniert. Und natürlich darf der Humor dabei nicht abwesend sein!
I am a Greek violinist, originating from Thessaloniki. Since 2009 I live in Vienna and have finished my master studies with Lidia Baich at the MUK Private University. Before I studied in Moscow at the prestigious Gnessin Institute.
It’s important in my teaching not only to show the ‘violinistic’ solutions, but to let students experience music and the possibility to express themselves in this wonderful language. Due to the fact that I have been trained according to the Russian school, I combine technical principles of violin playing with beautiful tone production, musical expressivity and the different characters we can convey in music. And of course with a healthy dose of humor!
