Katarina Milisavljevic – Violin

 

It’s never too early or too late for playing, when with the right determination!

 

Katarina Milisavljevic was born in 1997 in Belgrade, Serbia. At the age of eight she began her musical training on the violin.

She learned from the most important Serbian professors and from some internationally renowned professors such as Sergiu Schwartz, Federico Pivato, Christian Dallinger, Tymur Melnyk, Suyeon Kang, Vlad Popescu, Burghard Tölke and Dominika Falger.

She is the first and special prize winner at many national and international music competitions and festivals such as “Mladi Virtuoz” (“Young Virtuoso”) in Belgrade (Serbia), International Music Festival in Ub (Serbia), “Eugen Cuteanu” and “Alma Cornea Ionescu” music competitions in Timisoara (Romania), etc.

In 2016 she began her violin studies in Vienna and in June 2020 she obtained her diploma degree at the Richard Wagner Conservatory in the class of Prof. Burghard Tölke.
So far, she has participated in numerous orchestral and chamber music projects, festivals and orchestral academies, including: Wiener Jeunesse Orchester, Junge Philharmonie Wien, The New Symphony Vienna, Oper im Berg Festival, Wiener Stadtorchester, Pro Arte Orchester, Tiroler Festspiele Erl, etc.

She has performed as a soloist, orchestral musician and chamber musician in Serbia, Italy, Switzerland, Romania and Austria.

In June 2020 she was accepted as a member of “The New Symphony Vienna” orchestra after a successful audition.

She is currently studying Master of Arts Education Master studies in the class of prof. Dominika Falger at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna because it is her long-term goal to offer a teaching approach that is a unique combination of all the knowledge and skills that she has acquired.

Kristina Nikolic – Saxophone

 
I studied jazz saxophone and music pedagogy and completed a doctorate in the field of jazz research. Besides saxophone I also teach flute, clarinet and piano. My students say that I am very kind but also cool 🙂 I like teaching very, very much, no matter if beginner or advanced, children or adults.

Marko Trajkovski – Vocals

Marko Trajkovski, 1994 in Bitola, Nord Mazedonien geboren, stammt aus einer Familie — wie viele in Bitola — wo das Musizieren und Beherrschen eines Instruments als eine Form von Tradition betrachtet wird. Seine Mutter hat das Klavierspiel erlernt, sein Vater ist bis heute Mitglied einer mazedonisch-ethnologischen Musikgruppe und beherrscht viele der traditionellen Instrumente des Landes.

Als kleiner Bub wurde er mit einer Violine beschenkt und hat als Schüler an der Musikschule in seiner Heimat angefangen dieses Instrument zu erlernen.

Als er sich bei einem Unfall am Eislaufplatz den Arm brach, war er gezwungen sein Violinenstudium zu pausieren. Genau in dieser Zeit entdeckte er die Kunst des Gesangs für sich.

Da damals die Stadt eine große Vielfalt an klassischen Musikfestivals bot, hatte Marko die Gelegenheit unzählige berühmte Sänger zu hören. Bei einem dieser Konzerte sang der große Bariton Dmitry Hvorostovsky, was Marko sehr stark berührte und ihn zu dem Entschluss bewegte sein Gesangsstudium an der Universität für Musik und darstellenden Kunst in Wien zu beginnen. Seit dem Jahr 2013 studiert er nun bei Sebastian Vittucci, seit 2019 auch bei Claudia Visca Operngesang, mit deren Hilfe er schon mehrere Rollen auf die Bühne bringen konnte, unter anderem: Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro), Schaunard
(La Bohème), usw …

Seit dem Herbst 2017 ist er auch Mitglied des Arnold Schoenberg Chores, mit dem er regelmäßig in den Opernproduktionen des Theaters an der Wien auf der Bühne steht.
